Aaaand I’m back!
I received a lot of messages regarding the chanderi saree in cream, yellow and sage green from my previous post. Really happy that you all loved it! Haven’t seen it yet? Fret not, here are the links to all my previous posts from the Kancheevaram series : Part I, Part II and Part III.
Today’s saree is another chanderi silk saree. This one is in blue (I haven’t been able to figure out if it’s cerulean blue or manganese blue, pretty much colour blind when it comes to slight differences in colours like these) with white geometric arrowhead-like designs placed symmetrically all over the saree. My first instinct was to pair it with a cream blouse, but I found this cute crop top while rummaging through my cupboard for the cream blouse 😀 The day turned better when my mother-in-law gave me accessories (that she had made herself) in the same colour. She gave me a pair of earrings, a necklace and a bracelet – a complete set. And of course, I had to match the bindi to my saree; I love that pop of blue on my face. Draping this saree was so easy, the pleats just fell beautifully without much effort from my end.
Do you like the look? Which look is your favourite so far from the Kancheevaram series? Let me know your thoughts.
Would you like to see a Part V?
